Android V.4.4(Kitkat) What's new??
-Android V.4.4 is now in stores with the launch of new LG
Nexus 5 there are many upgrades for this OS in terms of design, performance and features, but still there is something lags in this OS lets have a look at this new technology
What's New?????:-
DESIGN:-
-It seems that android finally feels that it's design is pretty old fashioned they made several improvements in this latest update transparency is an example for that and actually many things are changed including the icons, notification icons and even the settings and the UI
-The main objective of android 4.4 is to run this OS even on a device with 512 MB RAM ,let's just imagine it in case of high-end devices which are blessed with almost 4 times of it,and if provided then it gives the ultimate performance
FEATURES:-
-OK GOOGLE:
FEATURES:-
-OK GOOGLE:
-No need to touch the screen just say OK GOOGLE when you are on the homepage to activate google voice search
-FASTER MULTI-TASKING:
-The new android V.4.4 can manage the memory and processor which improves the touch-screen so that it respond faster and also we can run many applications at a time with out any issue of lagging
-SMART CALLER ID:
-Whenever you got a call from an unknown number then your phone will look for matches from businesses with a local listing on google maps
BUT STILL WHAT"S MISSING:-
Whenever a new version of an OS is released, it's tempting to dream about all the cool features you want to see. The fact that 4.4 is more of a refinement than an upgrade means that some users could come away disappointed. Google has massaged Android and created something stronger and better, but it hasn't reinvented the wheel with KitKat.
The camera is possibly the biggest letdown, but Google has already moved to address that. Those transitioning from Samsung's TouchWiz UI will miss the various "smart" features which come by default; although stock Android is cleaner and in many respects more powerful, it does seem rather bare in comparison to some of the third-party skins on the market.
Of course, with a store full of apps, widgets and other goodies to download, you could argue that Google is giving you a blank canvas, rather than forcing things upon you like Samsung, Sony and HTC. Even so, we'd have liked to have seen some extras, such as the "Assist" app which is included on the Motorola Moto G. Clearly designed by Google, this app works in a similar fashion to the "Do Not Disturb" function on iOS 7, and will surely make its way to stock Android sooner rather than later.
